Fa la la la la

Christmas gets more and more meaningful for me every year. Not only the day itself, but more importantly the weeks before Christmas where there's a fuzzy feeling inside me, with all the decos everywhere. Au Contraire for Chinese New Year, the mood dies down every year. lol. Maybe it's cause I receive lesser angpaos every year.

Anyway, for the fun of it, let's count down to Christmas. Supposedly this Christmas Countdown widget plays a loud GONGG when it reaches 0:00:00:00. So if you happened to be at our blog at that time, you'd hear it.

*Disclamer: Double-jays will not be liable for any health deteriorations or even death caused by the GONGGG.

Introducing Kaypoh...

Since I only started working in March, I get 12 days of annual leave. I barely can finish them...and am using the rest of my 3.5days this month. Taking every Monday off..so I only need to work 3.5 days every week till the end of the year! yay! Did not even take any sick leave this year either.

So, now I'm sitting at home...waiting for lunch time. Will be going on a date with grandma and Alvin. In the meantime, I want to introduce our adorable and smexy cat, Kaypoh. She's been with us for the past 1 year. She's getting more and more mischievous day by day, catching rats, birds, bugs, lizards, climbing up and down.

The other day, Kaypoh ran away with her new found toy, a male cat. I was so sad, calling her name out every hour from my window, hoping that she was just lost and couldn't find her way home. Alvin even took the liberty to shake her food container outside the house (she knows its cat food in the container and she'll run towards the sound wherever she is).

Well, she came back the next day!! And when the male cat came near her she chased him away. You go girl!! Must have been a terrible date... We love you Kaypoh!!

Do not use towel or skirt to try the pants

My aunt from Miri is in Kuching. It gave Tania and I a reason to go look see in places around Kuching like pasar malams, India street and all those side store shops that we never bother going. Even though they're packed with all races 1Malaysia and noisy, they are somewhat quite entertaining and interesting sometimes. I know it's bad karma to make fun of things . . but meh . . lemonade from lemons . . .

What does it mean? Do people actually wear towels around while taking pants and just try them on, on the spot? I've never seen anyone doing that before, but I'm sure there's a lot of them since they took the liberty to put up a sign that says not to do so.

I'm guessing they found lots of baby doo-doos on their clothings.

It's also entertaining to read those China made shirts with random words on them. Want to save on advertising costs? No probrem~ just print advertisement on the product.

"I receive a lot of comment on it. A great product". Indeed it is . . . .

PRODUCT DESIGN FAIL. Even if it is on purpose, drinking some water that looked like it came out from Kermit the Frog's ding-dong is not something very hygienic. What if you decide to put air bunga. Still fail.

For those of you who say "NO WAY, I DON'T BELIEVE YOUR AUNT IS IN KUCHING". Here's a picture.

From left: Mr. Boat, Aunty, Tania's grandma.

I was reading Calvin and Hobbes in the toilet the other day. Came across a cute and amusing strip which I think totally sums up working life. Click to enlarge . . don't be lazy.

November

How'd I wish it snowed . . .
But then it would be quite ma-fan to do anything. Would be dead-cold, wet and dark. So.. nah..

The month of November was a roller-coaster ride with so many things happening. No kidding. But the month ended nicely with a nice surprise planned by Jessica. Thanks baby =)

Here's a picture of me being stressed out in one of our gazzilion meetings. People play sports, go out, bang their heads when they're stressed out. Not me, I pick my nose when I'm feelings stressed. =_=". Nice face angle of me I guess.

Attended Dew's wedding, which was nice, although didn't really get to talk to her, but it was ok.

May Hui was there too. So it was the 3 of us.

Some people say I post too many words in my posts. =.=... So I'm keeping things simple. It's a 20 to 1 words to picture ratio. 20 words, 1 picture. o_o.....

We don't celebrate it. No one does... except for the Americans, and Canadians.. I think.. I'm not sure..don't care... Thanksgiving. I'm not an American, but I do like the idea of it. Haha

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ROSSIE SIS!

How nice to have a time and season to say thanks to things around you that you should be grateful for. Although critics said you should do that everyday. So... screw you if you say you only can take part in the celebration if you're American.

  • I'm thankful for things that I don't have. If I have everything, I wouldn't be thankful for anything.
  • I'm thankful for Jay-Jay and Ian Hitz Morning Crew for making my drive to office every morning less of a drag.
  • I'm thankful for Airasia. For making flying cheap for everyone. o_o.....
  • I'm thankful for the love of my life, Tania.... you have no idea how much I do love you.
  • I'm thankful for my colleagues and ex-colleagues, for making work querky and not so boring.
  • I'm thankful for all my friends and family FOR EVERYTHING.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU SAY I CANT CELEBRATE IT. BLUEK!

Cheers!

Happy Birthday Alvin!

I fell asleep at 8pm last night and here I am now awake at 4am! Gotta kill another 3 hours before its time to get ready for work. Been thinking a lot about work lately, even in my dreams (for goodness sake!). I've lost focus on what I really want and have been just cruising along day by day. I need to take charge, and show them I am capable of being as good as any male engineers. That means getting down and dirty (That doesn't sound right at all...HAHA).

Anyway, we had a surprise birthday party for Alvin (a.k.a. OSK's chipmunk) on Sunday at Hartz. Oh yes he was surprised all thanks to a hoax sms from Belle asking him out on a date and he totally fell for it. Though he was pretty curious on my constant smsing and I had to blame it on boss. Sorry Francis. LOL.

Thank you everyone (Belle, Teo, Juliet, Jac, Valerian, Karen, Brandon, Voon, Irene & Emeric) who came and make this all happen. And thanks to all the birthday wishes from everyone who couldn't make it that night. *Hugs*
